MAGAZINE TIME!
SUMMER TRAVEL- That’s my magazine cover name. The genre I chose was to make a magazine about summer and what’s up to come for the year to come. My teacher actually came up with this name, I just brought the idea to life by using It! My cover conveys this genre by showing the sunset of a beach house resident. The sunset, palm trees, and the beach house shows a relax beach vacation, indicating it as a tropical, glowy place for the summer time. I made my cover lines about the topics about the magazine and each contribute summer or travel places. M puff also catches the attention of surfers too, so the magazine brings in different audience is vibrant with the contrast of the colors of the texts. My direct address cover lines sums of what the entire magazine would be about which is “HOTTEST TRAVEL PLACES THIS YEAR”.
LEARNING PROCESS- How I learned how to organize my magazine was by learning in class first with an example and an assignment that made me label different part of a magazine. I started to understand how to align my cover lines and how bold to make my title and cover lines.
CHALLENGES- I started second guessing my cover picture because I thought it didn't really go with what my magazine was going to be about (summer travel). I thought i would need to make my picture lighter, so it pops out. My thought on how I wanted it to end was challenge me because I wanted to look just how I pictured it. I got help from friends on the adjustment of my coverlines because i didn't know where it would look best, but after understanding how to structure them and the boldness on each of them should be adjusted, I was satisfied with how it came out and how I would do it for future projects.
